The San Diego Union-Platform

The San Diego Union-Platform is American Quotidien of language English E, published in San Diego (California). It rest resulting from fusion, the February 2nd 1992, of two daily newspapers created at the 19th century:

• The San Diego Union , founded the October 10th 1868,
• Evening Platform , founded the December 2nd 1895.

He wants to be the oldest press agency of the Comté of San Diego and the older second for the South of the State of California. He belongs since 1928 except for the Copley group (founded in 1905).

Its director, since 2001, is David C. Copley, born in 1952.
