The Rhine-Palatinat (district)

The district of the Rhine-Palatinat ( Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis , until 2003 Landkreis Ludwigshafen ) is a district of the Land of the Rhineland-Palatinat, in Germany.

Its capital is Ludwigshafen. On a surface of 304,88 km ² with a population of 148  860 inhabitants, the population density is 488 people with the km ².
