The level of difficulty

Each chart counts 10 questions about the recto and 10 answers associated on the back. The level of difficulty of a chart is judged on the position of the question on the chart. Questions 1,2,3 and 4 are worth 2 points, questions 5,6 and 7 are worth 4 points and the 8,9 and 10, most difficult questions, are worth 7 points.

Plays

The Masterly one proposes 4 plays different with the same set from charts:

The Masterly one

Principle of the play : the player has a response time one minute. He must, in these 60 seconds, to endeavor to answer the 10 qustions which are posed to him. Each good answer brings back points to him. Each bad answer makes him waste time.

Unfolding: the Master of the play takes a chart of each one of the topics and the mixture. He then indicates to the player the order in which the questions will be asked to him (for example: history, then sport, then geography, etc…). Once the fixed order, the Master of the play will propose the 1st subject. For each topic, the player will choose before the question to him is not asked the degree of difficulty of this one by requiring 2 points, 4 points or a " Magistral" (being worth 7 points).

Note : as soon as the question is put, the stop watch starts. It stops as soon as the answer is given or as soon as the player known as " STOP". The first sleeve stops when the player exhausted the 10 questions or when the minute is past. To gain the first sleeve, the player must add up a minimum of 37 points. If it succeeds there, it has the right of rejouer a new minute of play and that as much of time than it will add up at least 37 points. If it fails, one adds up all his points and its score will be used as reference to the other players: it will be the record to be beaten. One passes to the following player then.

Play of the 10.000

The players choose a Master of the play, this one holds this role throughout full rotation during which he questions each player in turn. Each player decides in his turn the series and the level of difficulty of each question. The player asks for example for " History 6" , the Master of the play reads question 6 of the higher chart of the Histoire package. If a player has answers correctly, it gains the number of points corresponding and continuous to play in the same way until a maximum of 3 charts. If the player has cannot answer or gives a false answer, the same question is put to the player according to B which profits thus from the possibility of gaining this chart. If B answers correctly, it marks its points: the turn of has is finished and the Master of the play passes to the player B then. If B does not answer, the question will be put to C, and so on. Whatever the person who will answer this question, it will be then with the turn of B to play. If no player can answer, the chart is gained by the Master of the play which gains 2 points whatever the value of the question. When all the players finished their turn, the Control of the play changes hands. Gaining is the first player to mark 50 points with charts of at least 7 different series and without no series counting some more than 4.

Play of the 1.000

This play proceeds in the same way that the preceding play, but relates only to one topic chosen commonly by the players. Each player asks for a question according to the degree of difficulty which it chooses. Gaining is the first player who marks 30 points.

Play with handicap

The rules of this play are identical to those of the play of the 10.000, but each player chooses a handicap. He will not be posed to him whereas questions of the degree of difficulty chosen by him. When a player answers correctly, it poses in front of him the chart which it has just gained. Gaining is the first player to obtain 15 charts in less 7 different sections and without none of them counting more than 4 charts.
