the Halfon unit does not answer any more ( Giv' At Halfon Eina Ona ) (in Hebrew: גבעתחלפוןאינהעונה) is traditional Israeli cinema. Produced in 1976, this film is a satire of Tsahal. The characters like Sergio Constanza, Mr. Hasson or the Yosifun cook became famous characters in Israel.

Synopsis

The action proceeds in an anonymous base in the desert of the Sinai. The sergeant Raphaël Moked (Gingi) is charged to find Sergio Constanza a reservist of Rumanian origin which did not arise only once in 15 years to the base. In Gingi way stops to ask for the hand of Yaeli, the young person and pretty girl of Mr. Victor Hasson. But this one refuses as much as his/her oldest daughter and shy person marrie not.

While waiting for Sergio money gains that it must with… Victor Hasson while betting in his club. When Gingi is able to inform Sergio that it is mobilized, Victor decides to continue Sergio to recover his money, and this until military base in the Sinai. There they discover that the file of Victor hid in the car of Sergio to join Gingi…
