Synopsis
A flight of secret documents was made with the embassy of Russia, in the office of Andre Smoloff, commercial attach3e. A team, including/understanding the captain Jean de Lursac and Vigo Curruci, takes the business in hands. Smoloff convened by Borgnine, agent of the Soviet Secret services, cannot prove its innocence to him. The investigation reveals quickly that Smoloff is very dependant with Lilia, saleswoman in a dressmaker in reputation. At the exit of the embassy, Smoloff is removed under the eyes of a Soviet agent which spun it. They find a former erased police officer, Gerlier, organizer of a spy network which made a success of the flight of the Soviet documents. But these documents are written in code and only Smoloff can give the translation of it. Lilia will be supervised by Christine, the concubine of Lursac. The vice of the French secret services is tightened. The French and Soviet police officers, after having fought with death, are combined to bore the mystery of the disappearance of Smoloff and arrive at the farm where Gerlier and its band sequestered Smoloff. While being run away, this last will be cut down but will die without to have betrayed. The inspectors stop Gerlier and Lursac learns that his/her Christine friend, who collaborated in the spinning mill, has just died on the road in an car accident…
