the Driver is a driver of Autocar, character of the Cartoon the Genius of the mountain pastures , carried out by F' murr. It makes its first appearance at the end of the eighth album.

Comme good number of characters present in the series, F' murr did not give identity particular to this bus driver Ornicar of the company " Transalp" , whose role in the history is not of great importance. However, the Driver is the héro in spite of him of an adventure which the author will develop on several albums and which will make it possible the ram Romuald to work out a new theory on the Gravitation: " The principle of the autocar" (Volume 13, cursed Livestock ) .

Indeed, whereas the Driver carries out his round on the sinuous roads of the Alpage S, the bus is quickly crammed, occupied by the whole of the herd (more than 120 heads!).
