Synopsis

Mr. Lange is employed in the company of edition of Batala, véreux owner and without scruples. During its free times Lange writes stories: adventures of Arizona Jim. Batala threatened of continuations not to have honoured an advertizing contract, decides to publish Arizona Jim, by modifying without the knowledge of the author certain passages in order to integrate advertisements into the text. Not being able more to honor its debts Batala escapes. The train, in which he flees has a serious accident, and one announces it dead. The employees of the Batala editions organize themselves in co-operative, and launch a new magazine whose Arizona Jim is the principal figure. It is an immense success near the young public. But some time later, Batala, which had benefitted from the accident of train to steal the identity of one of the victims returns and claims a share of the benefit…
