Synopsis

The Cité of the Sun is surrounded by seven strengthened enclosures. It is directed by a “metaphysician. ” Its economy is planned and of standard collectivist. One practices the Eugénisme there.

This Utopia, eighty six years posterior to that of Thomas More, reflects the one time thought which always did not distinguish Science and Astrologie.
