The Bat is a Silent film American based on the Play of Mary Roberts Rinehart and Avery Hopwood, carried out by Roland West in 1926, with Jack Pickford and Louise Fazenda.
The history proceeds in an old manor where people seek a hidden treasure. They are continued by a killer called " The Bat" (the bat). The film was found whereas it was thought that it had been lost forever. There was a remake in 1930 known under the name of The Bat Whispers with Chester Morris and Una Merkel. The known last version is that of 1959 ( The Bat , the Mask in French), with Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead.
