The Appalachian Mountains
The the Appalachian Mountains are an assembly line located at the east of the North America, and which extends from Newfoundland (Canada) in north, until the center of the State of the Alabama in the south (the United States). It culminates with the Mont Mitchell (2 037 meters) in North Carolina.
The Appalachian Mountains separate the coastal plain Atlantique (in the east) from the basin of the Fleuve the Mississippi and of the Big lakes (in the west).
The exploitation of the coal strongly has periclity, and metallurgical industry is there in great difficulty.
The Appalachian Mountains gave their name to a type of relief, the Appalachian Relief, which indicates the vestiges of an old strongly flush mountain. Long corridors extend rectilinear spines parallel to. The Appalachian Cluse S form narrow passages through the links of the mountain.
The Sentier of the Appalachian Mountains traverses of them the tops of the Maine until the Georgia.
