That to make? (1862-63) is a novel written by Nikolaï Tchernychevsky.
It is about one of major works of this author, and this novel exerted a considerable influence on generations of young radicals and Russian revolutionists, who did not hesitate to model their behavior over the characters and the intrigue of the novel. Lénine took again the title for one of its political treaties.
