Théogène François Page (1807-1867), Against admiral, was military Gouverneur in French Indo-China.
Of 1841 with 1844, Théogène François Page was the Capitaine of Favorite the, a boat of scientific exploration in the China Sea.
October 19th, 1859, it succeeded Charles Rigault de Genouilly with the head of the province of Tourane (today Da Nang), until March 23rd, 1860 when it reconcéda commandemant it in Rigault de Genouilly on February 18th, 1859. Exhausted by the climate, Rigault gives up its command with Jean Bernard Jauréguiberry which took over temporarily the duties in 1859, until in March 1860.
Page which succeeded to him until on February 6th, 1861 but it is constrained to evacuate Tourane and to take refuge with Saigon when, during nearly one year, it will undergo the repeated attacks of the army Annamite, until the arrival of forwarding Charner.
