Test of Guthrie
The test of Guthrie is a genetic test of Dépistage bearing the name of its creator, the doctor Robert Guthrie.
It makes it possible to detect 5 disease rare (Phénylcétonurie, Hypothyroïdie congenital, Hyperplasie congenital of the Surrénale S, the Drépanocytose and the Mucoviscidose) which is not visible with the birth.
It is usually carried out on the babies 72 hours after the birth, by pricking the heel or the top of the hand.
