Terence Young

Terence Young , scenario writer and British realizer of his true name Shaun Terence Young was born the June 20th 1915 with Shanghai, China, and is deceased the September 7th 1994 with Cannes (France) of an heart attack.

Biography

At the 21 years age Terence Young enters the cinema world as a script to the Studios of Elstree.
Son first scenario being the film One the Night off the Fire (1940), directed by Ralph Richardson, it obtains thereafter its first artistic experiment of director during the 2nd world war. Its career itself as a director began in 1950 it wrote itself the scenario, The Red Beret (red Beret) (1953), with Alan Ladd renting the glory of the United States and Great Britain winners to the war. The contemporary critics indicated this film as being the best action film directed by Young. Young directed three of the first four films of adventures of James Bond 007 against Dr. No (1962), of Bons kisses of Russia (1963) and Opération Thunder (1965).
