Technical university of Graz

The University of technology of Graz ( Technische Universität Graz , TUG) or Erzherzog-Johann-Universität , is one of the five universities of Styrie. Others being Karl-Franzens-Universität, Kunstuniversität Graz (university of arts), Medizinische Universität Graz (university of medicine) and Montanuniversität Leoben (the latter is only not being in Graz). It is one of the two universities of technology of Austria, with that of Vienna.

In the six-month period of summer 2005: 8224 students were registered there, including 16,2% from abroad and 18,6% women.
