Tamias sibiricus

Originating in Asia, the Tamia of Siberia or Squirrel of Siberia or squirrel of Korea was sold in the European animaleries as of the Années 1960. It was released in nature where it constitutes perennial populations with the Netherlands, in Belgium, in Suisse, Germany, France (15 000 individuals in 2006 in the Forêt of Sénart) and in Italy.
It is snuffed currently enough like animal, even if it is recommended rather to adult and informed amateurs, because that remains a small sharp animal, not always easy to tame. One can find some as well in animalery as at private individuals having had bébés.
