Talladega Superspeedway

The Talladega Superspeedway is an automobile sports complex and a circuit of NASCAR located at the north of the town of Talladega, in Alabama.

Built in the Years 1960 on the site of an old airport by the International Speedway Corporation, the company managing the construction and the exploitation of the majority of the circuits NASCAR, the circuit, length 2,66 miles (4,28 km) is the longest circuit of the series Nextel Cup and has a capacity of 175.000 spectators.

The starting line, contrary to all the other circuits, is placed after the exit of the stands; this unusual site has affected the exit of many races. The circuit, adjacent with the highway Interstate 20, is visible of this one.
