Tadukhipa
Tadukhipa or Tadukhepa , Tadu-Hepa , Taduhepa , Tadoughepa is the girl of Tushratta, the emperor of the Mitanni (reign: Ca -1382/-1342) and of the queen Juni.
One knows of it little about the princess Mitanni. It is thought that it was born during year 21 from the reign from Amenhotep {{III}} (either towards -1369). Fifteen years later, Tushratta married his/her daughter with her ally Amenhotep, this last has just entered the 36e year of its reign (-1354). Amenhotep died almost two years later (- 1353), at 45 years, that is to say 37 years after its accession with the throne. His/her son and Heir, Amenhotep {{IV}}/Akhénaton, inherited its harem and marries also Tadukhipa. The remainder of its life is unknown for us.
Its identification with Néfertiti was proposed as solution with the dubious destinies of Tadukhipa and Néfertiti. However, others identify Tadukhipa with Kiya, supposed to have been another queen of Akhénaton.
