TPS Turku (hockey)
TPS Turku , or quite simply TPS , is a club of Hockey of Finland evolving/moving within the highest league of the country, the Sm-liiga, based in the town of Turku.
History
The TPS was founded in 1922 under the name of Turun Palloseura, from where initials. The club began its activities from hockey in 1929. The complete name of the club is today HC TPS Turku OY .The club was crowned champion of Finland ten times, the legendary trainer Hannu Jortikka led the team to six of these ten championships between 1989 and 2001.
