Tübingen
Tübingen is a town of Germany, located in the Land of Bade-Wurtemberg. First important city sprinkled by the Neckar, it is to 40 km in the south of Stuttgart. It is very famous for its university, the Eberhard Karls Universität , one of oldest of Germany.
Denomination
There was a French translation of the name of the city, Tubingue , but it largely fell in disuse (at least since the Second world war: the various services of the French Forces in Germany, which had a quartering with Tübingen of 1945 until the beginning of the Années 1990, always made use of the German denomination.)
