A system of prevention of intrusion (or IPS, Intrusion Prevention System ) is a tool of the specialists in Information system security, similar to IDS, except that this system can take measures in order to decrease the risks of impact of an attack. It is IDS credit, it detects an automated sweeping, the IPS can block the ports automatically.
