Syntec index

The Indice Syntec is used to measure the evolution of the Coût of the Labor, primarily of intellectual nature, for Prestation S provided. It is generally used for the revision or the actualization of a financial clause of a contract or a market.

Method of calculating

The Syntec index is updated all the Mois. Its reactualization is founded on a pilot survey near companies, which are representative of the activities of the members of Syntec.

The calculation of the index rests on the relationship between the sum of the wage bills charged and the sums with the manpower declared full-time by the companies of the reference group.

Formulate application

An example of application of the index in order to revise the tariff of a service:

Where:

  • P1 = price revised

  • P0 = price of origin
  • S0 = index SYNTEC published in the date of the preceding revision or index of origin goes back to signature of the contract)
