Syndromes and has Century (Thai: แสงศตวรรษ, saeng satawăːt , literally Lumière of the century ) is a film free - inhabitant of Thailand carried out by Apichatpong Weerasethakul, left the June 13rd 2007 to France. It is the third shutter of a trilogy including/understanding Blissfully Yours and Tropical Malady .
Synopsis
Contemporary portrait criticizes sociological modernization of the Thailand and Syndrome S of the century, through the memories of childhood of the realizer in the world of the hospital of his/her parents both doctors:A man and a lady doctor work all both in a hospital of countryside in an environment modest, close friend, green and human, near to the patients and practices one time.
Then they evolve to a more modern but colder hospital, more Béton born and more depersonnalized of the capital Bangkok and towards less human relations between the individuals, more Silence.
