Suzuki GSF Gangster

Motor bike of the type roadster, it is declined in many cubic capacities, going from 250 cm ³ to 1250 cm ³. All have the characteristic to have an air cooling and oil with a Four-stroke engine on line and with two camshafts. This model was a great success grace his quality ratio/price, its esthetics, its performances and its fiabilité  ; the driving block is that tested of the models GSX-R, with a modification of the camshafts and adjustments of Carburateur S.

History

The Gangster appears in 1989 with the version 400 cm ³. In 1995, models 600 and 1200 cm ³ make them apparition  ; great modifications are made at the time of the world one of the two wheels in October 1999 (tallies, saddle, tank). In 2002, Gangster 600 receives some minor modifications like the meter of the 1200, a gauge with gasoline and a watch.

Model 250 cm ³

This version, nonavailable in France, delivers 38 horses (28 kw).

Model 400 cm ³

Available in France in 1991, and until 1995. Its appearance resembles that of the 600 much, except the rear lights and a reserve of reduced size.

The wheels of 17 inches are out of alloy.

Model 600 cm ³

The 600 Gangster is sold for the first time in 1995. It is doubled by a version S raising a Carénage Tête of fork improving comfort on long course not weighing 3 additional. It was sold 6.050 €.

Of a power of 78 horses in its last version left in 2000, that is to say 4 horses moreover than the preceding one, its engine remains hollow below 6  000 tr/min for then delivering its power. That gives a nervous, sharp, typical character of one 600 cm ³.

The dry weight of the 600 Gangster passes to 204 kg. The version S is heavier of 4 kg.

Its maintenance is easy and the reliability of the driving block to any test with the proviso of not maltreating it. Certain specimens reached and largely exceeded the 100  000  kilometers.
