See also: Superstructure

On a Ship, the superstructures are the permanent constructions located on the principal bridge but not extending over the entire length (in this case, one considers that it is an additional bridge).

The superstructures have various names according to their site. One distinguishes the superstructures which extend over all the width: they are named strong with front, castle in the medium or the back, Dunette with the back and Teugue if it is relatively low; in addition, the superstructures not extending over all the width are called Rouf S.
