Superman, the Angel of Métropolis

Superman, the Angel of Metropolis (in English Superman or Superman, The Animated Series ) is a Televised series of Animation produced by Warner Bros. Pictures between 1996 and 2000 and devoted to Superman and its universe. The series counts 54 episodes diffused in the United States on the chain WB and in France on France 3 and Cartoon Network. In 2006, six years after the stop of the series, a video film, Brainiac Attacks , the day saw (in the tread of the passion for the superman of Metropolis following the exit of Superman Returns ).

The series was created by Bruce Timm and its team and fits in the same universe as Batman, the animated series, Gotham Knights, Batman the changing, Static Choc, the League of the Dispensers of justice…

It is in this series that appeared for the first time the character of Livewire, introduced thereafter into the comics.
