Supercoupe of Africa

The Supercoupe of Africa is a African competition of Football created in 1992, opposing the winner of the Ligue of the Champions of the CIF to the winner of the Coupe of the CIF. Since 1995, she is played in only one match and on the ground of the winner of the league of the champions (exception in 2006). Until 2002, Supercoupe of Africa opposed the winner of the Ligue of the Champions of the CIF to the winner of the Coupe of Africa of the winners of cuts. With the disappearance of the latter, it was the winner of the Coupe of the CIF which took the place.

Anecdotes

Since 1995, the supercoupe is usually played in only one match and on the ground of the winner of the league of the champions. Only one club of C2 succeeded has to beat the champion at his place: the star of the Sahel by beating the Raja de Casablanca in 1997.
