Presentation

The Swiss Patrouille is the lifting patrol official of the Air force Suisse. Ambassador of prestige, the patrol makes air démontrations in Suisse and abroad.

History

Created the August 22nd 1964 for the national exposure, the Swiss Patrol was initially equipped with four Hawker Hunter Mk. 58. It owes its name with her cousin the Patrouille of France.

After 30 years of fidelity to this British apparatus, the formation enters in 1994 a new aeronautical dimension with a faster and more handy successor, the American hunter F-5 E Tiger II. The pilots perfectly knew to control the transition in 1995. The planes, henceforth covered with one delivered red and white, continue to raise sharp fills with enthusiasm crowd in Suisse and abroad. The first season of the F-5 finished in apotheosis with two presentations in Axalp, at the time of the demonstrations of shooting. The current formation is composed of six planes.
