Studio Super Bear
The studio Super Bear was a studio of recording located with the Berre-the-Alps, in the Alp-of-High-Provence, in France.
It was about an old restaurant repurchased by an English composer-songwriter, then transformed into studio very last thing, by the company Eastlake Audio.
Super Bear proposed its conveniences with the artists, as well as a swimming pool and tennis court. The studio opens its doors in 1978 and becomes very popular thanks to its framework. Internationally known artists such as Queen (Jazz), Paul McCartney (Tugs Off War), Elton John (The Fox) or Pink Floyd (The Wall) invest the places at the end of the years 1970. Unfortunately a forest fire will be right of the masonry in 1986. Thus the studio Super Bear disappears. Rebuilt thereafter, the house will become a pictorial gallery then a house of hosts. It is it still today.
Some Super Bear artists having recorded:
Queen, David Gilmour, Rick Wright, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, The Alan Parsons Project, Francis Cabrel, Dick Rivers.
