History

At the time of an attack against Askani resistance, the forces of Apocalypse capture the child and themselves educate it to make a frightening weapon of it. With the fall of Apocalypse, Stryfe (carrying an armor which hides its face) and the néo-Cananéens seize the power.

When Cable decides to turn over at the time of the X-Men to prevent the rise of Apocalypse, Stryfe follows it; and confrontation between the Six starts Pack and Stryfe, then between X-Force carried out by Cable and the mutant Face of release (F.L.M.) carried out by Stryfe.

Stryfe removes finally its armor and benefits from its resemblance to Cable to try to kill the Professor Xavier while making show this last. It is the beginning D X-Cutioner' S Song (saga in 10 chapters) which will be completed by the physical disappearance of Stryfe ( X-Force #18 in 1993, X-Force #10 in 1994 VF), its spirit amalgamating some time with that of Cable ( Cable #8 1994, Cable #5 in 1995 VF). But, before leaving, it left its heritage: the virus Legacy which touches only the mutants and can be to them fatal (the sister of Colossus will succumb to it).

Capacities

It has the same capacities as Cable, i.e. the Télépathie and the Télékinésie, but without the limits due to the technovirus: it thus has capacities close to those of Professor Xavier, even superiors.
