Strategic Sphere of activity

A strategic sphere of activity , or DAS , in the terminology of the Strategy of company, is defined as a subset of an organization to which it is possible to allocate or to withdraw resources in an autonomous way. A DAS is characterized by:

  • of the specific markets;
  • of the specific competitors;
  • of specific technologies.
A strategic sphere of activity is defined like the whole of the products or activities, often homogeneous, for which the company can constitute an competitive advantage.
