Strasnoy Oscar
Type-setter, Leader and Pianist French and Argentinian born the November 12th 1970 with Buenos Aires, it studied the Piano, the direction of orchestra and the composition with the Academy of Buenos Aires, the Conservatoire of Paris and Musik Hochschule Frankfurt with Aldo Antognazzi, Guillermo Scarabino, Guy Reibel, Michael Levinas, Gerard Grisey, Hans Zender and John Carewe. In France, with the Academy of Paris, it obtained the First price unanimously (first mention and price of the Former students).
Between 1996 and 1998, Strasnoy was the musical director of the Orchestra of CROUS of Paris. It obtained many purses and multiple orders on behalf of institutions European, north and South American (French State, Mozarteum Argentino, Université of Harvard (the USA), Kulturstiftung of Bundes (Germany), Fondation Nadia Boulanger…).
He was artist in residence with the Médicis Villa out the walls (1999) in Herrenhaus-Edenkoben in Germany (2000, invited by Peter Eötvös), in Akademie Schloss Solitude with Stuttgart (2001-2002) and with the Kujoyama Villa in Kyoto in Japan (French government, 2003).
Luciano Berio allotted to him Premio Orpheus in 2000 for its opera Midea (booklet of Irina Possamai) which was produced by Teatro Caio Melisso with Spolète (September 2000) as with the Opera of Rome (March 2001).
Its compositions were played and presented in Germany, in France, Italy, Spain, England, with the E. - U., in Australia, with the Japan, in Romania, Hungary and Argentine (inter alia, Philharmonie of Berlin, IRCAM, Philharmonic orchestra of Radio France, Musée of Orsay, Festival Musica with Strasbourg, Wigmore Hall…).
He is prize winner of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation 2007.
Oscar Strasnoy wrote several works for the scene:

As a pianist, he is the founder of the Trio Ego Armand (with the Guitariste Pablo Márquez and the percussionnist Gabriel Said) with which he occurs in France (Musée of Louvre), Germany, Japan, Argentina…

It gave training courses and conferences in France, Belgium (CIFAS), London (Royal Academy off Music) and with the Japan.
He lives as an independent type-setter with Paris.
