The strait of Georgia also called strait of Georgia (in English: Strait off Georgia , or between 1800 and 1865: GULF off Georgia ) is a Détroit of the Pacific Ocean 240 kilometers length between the Vancouver Island (near the islands GULF) and the continent (coast of Colombia-British to the Canada). In the south, the strait finishes with the intersection between Puget Sound and the Détroit of Juan de Fuca.
