Stephan Bodzin

Stephan Bodzin is a type-setter of electronic music German born on August 4th, 1969 in Bremen.

Biography

Stephan Bodzin remained for a long time in the shade, creating musics for large theaters or as a coproducer, taking part in the advent of many artists. Its first recognized pieces are those which it composed in particular with Thomas Schumacher , Oliver Huntemann and Marc Romboy in the years 2005-2006.

At the end of 2006, it creates the label Herzblut which enables him to launch its career solo. Indeed, in September of this year it leaves its first piece with this label: Kerosene . The creation of its first album is followed from there. In April 2007, Stephan Bodzin leaves Liebe STI ; and a month later, the album of the same name.

At the beginning Stephan Bodzin was rather an artist of studio, but for these years 2006-2007, he has discovered the joy of the lives ones, and he says more to be able to live without. This is why it makes from now on the round the world tour, playing D-Edge in Sao Paulo or ILoveTechno in Ghent, while passing by Montreal, Tokyo and Melbourne.

Music

Stephan Bodzin mixes minimal techno mainly, movement of which he becomes a large representative. It is endowed with a great direction of the melody (it is described like a " Melody-man") and its music feels enormously (what can be observed when he exerts). It builds its music while letting go its intuitions, which gives rise to pieces filled with emotions.
