Stalling
The stalling is a type of breeding in which the animals are maintained in reclusion, i.e. inside closed spaces.
The moderate or cold areas mainly obliged the stockbreeders to keep the livestock in interior, and thus to develop various modes of breeding answering the greater comfort of the stockbreeder S and the cattle according to the various developmental stages (growth, Gestation and Production).
The systems of stalling get busy mainly in the breeding of the bovines, porcine, chickens and the horses. There are two principal types: stalling known as “traditional” and “free” stalling.
Traditional stallings
; Stalling in enclosure: The Horses, the Calf X, the Piglet S and the laying hens confined inside a building have a space limited even of a Enclos or a cage where they can move without being attached.; Stalling in Stall: The animals are confined in compartments hardly larger than them called stalls. They have generally the Liberté to rise and to lie down but cannot move. This system allows a cleaning, the draft and the manual or automated food.
Free stalling
In this system of breeding the animals have free access to their stall but do not remain about it less not confined inside a building or a limited space.Reclusion of the animals with undoubtedly be best method of Domestication practiced by the human being. Now that certain animals like the bovines were subjected to an intense selection as much for their production that for their character, the systems of breeding to free stalling take all their direction since they give again a certain freedom of movement with the animals. In the milch cows, free stalling will have been favorable to a greater mechanization of the food of the animals, Traite and cleaning of the buildings.
