Squatina squatina

The angel of sea , Squatina squatina , is a related Poisson flat with the Requin S. It is a species in critical danger of extinction (IUCN).

It meets on the level of the continental shelf of the coasts of north east of the Atlantique, the south of the Norway in the west of the the Sahara and in the Mediterranean, between the Latitude S 65° NR and 15° NR, to 150 m of depth. Its size lies between 1,83 and 2,44 Mr. His skin is brown with tasks more foncées.
The Angel of sea lives in general with half buried on the bottom while waiting for that a prey passes to its range. It is nourished of osseous Poisson, of Raie S, Crustacé S and of Mollusque S. It is ovoviviparous.
