Square of crossbow

The square of crossbow is the projectile used with a Arbalète, whose pyramidal iron with 4 sides has a square base. Shorter (approximately 30cm) that the arrow and also heavier, its empennage of leather or parchemein was reduced. These characteristics represent a use into shooting tended with an aim of penetrating the armours, for which ballistic qualities (of mass and form) of the square were excellent.
