Sprint (athletics)

The sprint gathers the races on foot in which the sprinter must run on a short distance at the human speed fastest possible. One distinguishes two types of sprints:

  • short sprints :

    • 60 m and less
    • 100 m
    • 150 m
    • 200 m
  • long sprints :
    • 300 m
    • 400 m
    • 500 m
