Spring
See also: Spring (homonymy)
The spring is one of the four Saison S of the moderate zones. It is placed before the be.
In the everyday usage, one compares spring to the Mois of March, April and May in the northern Hemisphere and of September, October and November in the Southern hemisphere.
Of primus , first, and tempus , time, this season began the year formerly.
Astronomically, it starts with the vernal equinox and finishes with the Summer solstice. In Meteorology, it begins on March 1st conventionally.
In the Chinese Calendar, which is lunisolar, spring starts around at the beginning of February and finishes around at the end of April. The festival of spring coincides there with the new year: it is the beginning of the seeds and a two weeks festival. This shift of one month and half approximately compared to the continental Europe is due to the fact that the equinox S and Solstice S are located at semi-season. One finds it in particular in the traditional calendars Celtic or Scandinavian.
