Spangled Room

The spangled Chambre is in England a high court of Justice which appears in 1487 under Henri VII. It draws its name from the stars out of gold which decorated the room where the advisers of the king met.

This Tribunal judged without the competition of a Jury and based on the Témoignage of only one witness: also became a terrible instrument between the hands of Henri VIII of England and Elisabeth. It was abolished in 1641 by the Length-Parliament.
