Somoza
The Somoza were the Patronyme of influential a Dynastie Politique of the Nicaragua. This influence will perdura during 33 years on the political life of the country. Three members of this dynasty were president of the republic.

Anastasio Somoza García (1896 - 1956) of 1937 with 1947 and of 1950 with 1956
- Shine Somoza Debayle (1922 - 1967), his/her oldest son, chair 1956 1963,
- Anastasio Somoza Debayle (1925 - 1980), its second wire, president of 1967 with 1972 and of 1974 with 1979
The dynasty of Somoza was reversed in 1979 by the Front Sandinista of national release (FSLN).
An outstanding image of this victory was the unbolting and the fall of the statue of Anastacio Somoza, on the public place of Managua.

The Contras (counter-revolutionaries) financially constant by the the United States tried to take again the capacity with the hand of the FSLN of Daniel Ortega, in order to prevent the country from forking towards the Communisme, like had made Cuba. During several years, the near total of the national budget passed in the armament. True a Civil war devastated the country until the end of the years 1980.
