Solomon-hunter-wandering

Solomon is one of the words Basque indicating hunter wandering . Errege Solomon (king Solomon). According to certain versions, this Chasseur did not want to stop to give the Aumône to a Nécessiteux which required it of him. At the moment even a Nuage carried it him and its dogs. It deposited them on the the Moon. It is there that it continues without slackening its office and it will make it as much as the moon will exist.

With Dohozti one tells that at the time of certain nights of strong wind, Errege Xalomon goes by the mountains of these areas in company of its dogs. One says of him that it attended a mass when with the Sanctus, it lives as a Lièvre passing close to the door of the church. It was the Diable which had taken an appearance. Leaving the Mass, it left the church and from went away with its dogs to the continuation of the animal. He and its animals was quickly high in the airs, in a mysterious way. It always continues to cross in the airs, without never being able to catch hare.
