Sleeper Concealment

Sleeper Cell ( Sleeper Concealment ) is a American Feuilleton televised created by Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris and diffused since the December 4th 2005 on the network Showtime. In France, the serial is diffused since the September 15th 2006 on TPS Star.

Synopsis

Darwyn Al-Sayeed, a Afro-American of about thirty years, Moslem practitioner, is recruited at his coming out of prison by an islamist cell terrorist established in the United States, cell directed by certain Faris Al-Farik. But Darwyn is an agent of FBI working under cover, having for mission of infiltrating the cell, which projects a terrorist attack massive of Los Angeles. Darwyn is directed by the FBI senior agent Ray Fuller, which is also a friend. The difficulty of the mission will push it to commit crimes to protect its cover, following what the mission will be cancelled by FBI, before being maintained in-extrémis by the administration when indices linking this cell to the terrorist network international make surface.

Characters

  • Darwyn Al-Sayeed , alias Darwyn Al-Hakim : main character. In the first episode, one sees it being released of prison and being made recruit in the cell. One learns at the end from the episode that it is an infiltrated agent. At the commencement of the series, it goes more-or-less to fall in love with Gayle, which it meets with a picnic organized by one of the members. It can nothing tell him its diurnal and night activities, and this secrecy poisons their relation. It is Moslem practitioner. Taking into consideration its mission of infiltration, this was necessary, and that really does not enter in conflict with its mission.
  • Farik : cold, intelligent leader and calculator of the cell. It does not trust anybody, reveals information only when it is strictly necessary. He will not hesitate to kill any member of his team convinced of fault or treason, which besides will push them not always not to be frank with him. He has his own perception of the Islam, where the Jihad justifies all the atrocities, including the death of Moslem brothers and children.
