the Skin on the bones is a novel of Stephen King writes under the Pseudonyme of Richard Bachman and published for the first time in 1984. The English original title is Thinner . The novel was adapted to the cinema in 1996 in a film bearing the same name ( Thinner ).

Summary of the history

Billy Halleck, good husband, good father, lives in the Connecticut and exerts its lawyer trade with New York. Compulsive eater, it weighs more than one hundred kilos. One day, it kills accidentally conveys old a gipsy of it. Its position of notable is worth to him to be condemned only to one sorrow of principle and the Gipsies are expelled of the city. At this point in time Billy starts to lose, and more and more. It has in vain gaver, nothing cannot stop this weight loss which risks to take it along towards a fatal outcome.
