Siri Hustvedt
Siri Hustvedt is a writer E American born the February 19th 1955 in Northfield (State of the Minnesota), the United States of Norwegian immigrant parents.
Poetess, essay writer and recognized novelist, it is graduate (PhD) in English Literature of the Université of Columbia.
February 23rd, 1981, Siri Hustvedt goes to a meeting reading of poetry, to which also Paul Auster assists. The love at first sight is reciprocal, it will marry the writer the following year. They live in Brooklyn, New York, and have a girl, Sophie.
Its works are translated in 16 country to date. Into France the writings of Siri Hustvedt are represented by Christine the Ox and are published at Actes Sud.
