Siemomysł de Poméranie
Siemomysl de Poméranie (in Polish Siemomysł ), known also under the name of Zemuzil , is duke of Poméranie (probably of Poméranie Eastern) at the 11th century.
Its name is mentioned in annals of the Monastère of Altaich. Siemomysl has family ties with the Piasts of Poland. About the year 1000, the girl of Mieszko I {{er}} married the duke of Poméranie, whose name is unknown for us.
In June 1046, Siemomysl, Casimir I {{er}} the Restorer, Bretislav I {{er}} of Bohemia and Henri III of the Holy roman Empire meets with Mersebourg to try to regulate their different. On this occasion, Siemomysl concludes an agreement Casimir Ier, in virtue of which there promises to remain neutral in the conflict opposing the Mazovie to Poland.
In 1047, when Casimir starts itself for takes again Mazovie with Miecław, Siemomysl does not respect its promise and sends reinforcements to support Miecław. Casimir leaves victorious confrontation and takes again Mazovie, but also Poméranie Eastern. Siemomysl is constrained to return a Hommage of Vassalité to Casimir Ist.
