Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Shingetsutan Tsukihime is a fantastic Anime of 12 episodes realized in 2003 by the studios J.C. Staff, drawn from a Doujin-range of the type Visual Novell of the studio STANDARD MOON and named Tsukihime, very popular among the Otaku S in spite of its statute of play amateur.

The play Tsukihime also generated two another doujin-ranges besides taking again the same characters and by introducing others, Melty Blood a play of combat by-product with Watanabe Seisakujo, and Kagetsu Tohya the direct continuation of the original play.

Short summary of the History

Since an accident to the 9 years age, Shiki Tohno permanently sees the “lines of dead”: while slicing in these lines with the knife, it is able to cut out anything… and no matter whom. A magician then made him gift of a pair of glasses which enables him not to see these lines more. At his exit of the hospital, his/her father decided to place it in a family of reception, where it remained until his 17 years, age to which it learns the death from his father. Shiki turns over then in the family residence where his/her sister waits, Akiha, become the heiress of the family. Shortly after its return, Shiki crosses the way of an young girl, Arcueid Brunestud, which it continues and cuts out of pieces using its capacity. He does not remember the way in which he returned in the family residence, and thinks that it is about a bad nightmare… but the following day, Arcueid reappears in front of him, and the memory refreshes to him. Its resurrection having weakened it, it wants to involve Shiki with it with the continuation of a vampire which prevails recently in the city. Progressively from its history, Shiki discover the secrecies which hiding place its family and to discover which is really Arcueid Brunestud.
