Seyssins
Seyssins is a common French, located in the department of the Isere and the area the Rhone-Alps. Its inhabitants is called the Seyssinois (Seyssinoises) .
Geography
The commune of Seyssins is located at the side of the Massif of Vercors, giving on Grenoble. Part of Seyssins is located in the plain, whereas another is located in bottom of the rise leading to Saint-Nizier-of-Moucherotte the, located at 1.162 m of altitude.

Communes bordering
The commune of Seyssins is separated from Grenoble and Echirolles by the Drac, in the East. It is bordered in north by the commune of Seyssinet-Pariset and in the south by the commune of Claix (hamlet of Cossey). At the West, Seyssins is located at the side of the Massif of Vercors, at the foot of Moucherotte, and is in more remote liaison with the communes of the plate, Saint-Nizier-of-Moucherotte the then Lans-in-Vercors.

Civil inheritance
War memorial the
It is in 1920, the shortly after the First World War that the municipal council of Seyssins made the decision to set up a war memorial, for eight hundred and thousand francs of the time. It is during the afternoon of July 2nd, 1921 that the Monument is inaugurated: the 28 names engraved in the stone are read for the first time. The speech of the secretary of town hall of the time and that of the mayor are followed from there: Joseph Moutin. The war memorial is located beside the church Saint Martin de Seyssins, in the old cemetery.
