Serpentis alpha

Alpha Serpentis (α Ser/α Serpentis) is a system of star triples Constellation Serpent, in its head ( Serpens Caput ). Alpha Serpentis also bears the traditional names Unukalhai ( Unukalhay , Unuk Al Hay , Unuk Elhai , Unuk ), of the Arab عنقالحية cunuq Al-ħayya '' meaning " cou" , and Horn Serpentis , a Latin expression meaning " the heart of the serpent". Alpha Serpentis is located at approximately 73,2 light-years of the Ground.

The primary star, Alpha Serpentis has is a giant orange of standard K with a Magnitude connect of +2.63. It has a Luminosité 70 times more important than the Sun and a temperature of surface of 4300 Kelvin S. Its ray is approximately 15 times larger than that of the Sun. The star Alpha Serpentis B magnitude +11,8 is with 58 arcsecondes primary elections, and that 13th magnitude Alpha Serpentis C is with 2,3 arcminutes of A.
