Serge de Beketch

Serge Andre Yourevitch Verebrussoff of Beketch , (born the December 12th 1946 with Turns - died the October 6th 2007 with Paris) was a Journaliste and a scenario writer of Cartoon French. He was in particular cofounder and organizer on Radio Courtesy, like founder and organizer of the Libre Newspaper of Courteous France .

Biography

He is of Russian origin with a Tartar Ascendance . His/her maternal grandfather was Colonel in the French Army. His/her paternal grandfather was assistance-of-camp of the Général Dénikine, chief of the White Armies in imperial Russia. His/her father, Warrant officer of Foreign legion, is Mort for France with the battle of Diên Biên Phu.

After its schooling like Child reared by the army, he exerts various employment (operation of the building then salesman in bookstore…). In 1966, it enters like Pigiste of the page of the spectacles to the Hebdomadaire Minute .

In 1967, it engages in Tsahal at the time of the the six day old Guerre, but “the confrontations were so fast that it did not even have time to cover the uniform”.

As of 1969, Rene Goscinny invites it to collaborate as scenario writer in the pages of topicality of the weekly magazine Pilote . He will write moreover various stories in Cartoon and will write for the Publicness editions the French versions of the American reviews Eerie , Creepie and Vampirella . He will also collaborate under the pseudonym of Altamont Baker, with the international review of the image Zoom .

In 1975, Serge de Beketch leaves Pilote following the departure of Rene Goscinny. He becomes chief of information then writer-in-chief in 1979 of Minute . He leaves it in 1986 following a dissension with the new direction and occupies, at the request of Jean-Marie Le Pen, the position of director of the drafting of National-Hebdo .

In 1987, it takes an active part with Jean Ferré in the birth of Radio Courtesy, after being évincé of Radio Solidarity. It will animate a Libre Newspaper there 3:00 quasi-weekly magazine until its death in 2007.

In 1990, at the request of Serge Martinez, new owner of the title, it returns to take the direction of the drafting of Minute . In 1993, it is dislocated of its functions by the team which, having repurchased the title with Martinez, the too politically committed judge. It bases then with his wife, Danièle, her own decadal newspaper the Free Newspaper of Courteous France , version written of its emission on Radio Courtesy.

He was a large friend of the journalist and novelist A.D.G., whom he met in 1974 with Minute , and which took as a starting point Serge de Beketch to camp his character Sergueï Djerbitskine , alias Machin , journalist alcoholic and anarchizing.

Serge de Beketch dies on October 6th, 2007 of the continuations of a Hépatite B which it had contracted 15 years earlier by looking after his Maladie of Hodgkin. Its funerals are celebrated on October 12th, 2007, in the Holy-Odile church in Paris in the presence of more than thousand people among whom many personalities such as Jean-Marie Le Pen, Bruno Gollnisch, Bruno Mégret and Jean Raspail.

Positioning

Ideology

Its family history conditions its political commitment on the right, then with the Extrême right-hand side, classification to which he prefers that of “royalist-tendency-hard”. Its political commitment was clearly radicalized with the years, on January 22nd, 1992, it retorts with Philippe Guilhaume, former president of Antenne 2 and FR3, which it is, itself, “neither democratic, nor liberal”. According to Le Monde , “its puns ooze the anti-semitism and it never misses an allusion to the Jewish genocide to relativize the width of it”.

“To escape the diktats from the doctrinaire approach” and “to pickle the neurons”, he advises the reading of the Négationniste Robert Faurisson.

In 1995, he is director of communication of the town hall of Toulon, then held by the mayor Front National Jean-Marie Le Chevallier. It will however put its own boss a term at this collaboration at the end of four months, considering that the incompetence and the incurie of the municipal team harm the image of Front National. He was also director of the Patriote VAr . At the time of the conflict which animates Bruno Mégret and Jean-Marie Le Pen between 1998 and 1999, it in vain tries to adopt a conciliating attitude.

Public polemics

November 20th, 1996, he declares on Radio Courtesy: “in France, in 1943, one did not treat the Jews like one treats people of the National front today. Obviously, (it continued), they were stopped, one off-set them… In Germany, there were things, but in France, I do not have to remember that there were pogroms like one currently makes some people of the FN. ” Its standpoint was worth to him many appearances in justice and several judgments. He was in particular condemned twice on May 26th, 1993, for slandering towards Olivier Biffaud, journalist with the daily newspaper Le Monde . In the first business, Serge de Beketch was condemned to pour frank a symbolic system of damages, like 8.000 F of court fees. In the second, it was condemned to pay 80.000 F of damages, like, there still, 8.000 F of court fees for " attack with the delicacy and the dignity of the person visée". Associative engagements

Serge de Beketch, former vice-president of AGRIF ( general Alliance against the racism and for the respect of the identity French and Christian ), he was member until his death, also founded the Cercle of Jewish and Christian French friendship with Bernard Antony, Alain Sanders, Jean-Pierre Cohen and Pierre Semour.

In 2006, he is signatory of “the Call of the 25”, a petition claiming a presidential pardon for Michel Lajoye.

In addition, it was a large defender of the village of children of Riaumont.
